Clayton vs. Archers Lodge 1/30

The Clayton Eagles squared off against the Archers Lodge Gators. The game started off strong for Archers Lodge Boys with good play from the guards. At the end of the first quarter Clayton is down 8-2. Archers Lodge played well in the 2nd quarter and had the lead at halftime by 8. With 2 minutes left in the game Clayton was down by 14. They needed to full court press and that was definitely what got them back in the game. With 14 seconds left we get fouled and go to the foul line down by one. Unfortunately we miss both of them and Clayton loses 44 to 41. “They played their hearts out and I am so proud of the young men they are becoming great players and allowing me to be their coach” ~Coach Greene. Good Luck Eagles!
